Good Morning America - September 23, 2013

Everything is great. We have a baptism this weekend. The girl that is going to get baptized is named Carolina. She is 16 years old and is a granddaughter of one of the members in the ward. Haha it has been kinda tough, because some people have told her that she isn't ready and we ran into some other personal complications, but she is set. It has been really cool. She is a nanny and has invited the lady that she nannies for to church and to her baptism. She really is awesome.

This week on Thursday it was Elder Garcia's Birthday. It was pretty awesome. We bought a rotissery chicken and there is a really nice restaurant here that makes New York Cheesecake and it is so good. So he bought a whole one. It was a great birthday for him and we got to share it with the MOrmoncitos. He dished up some HUGE pieces of cheesecake for the little kids and I was trying to tell him that it was going to be a ton, even for us. He just kinda shrugged it because he didn't want to have to carry the cake all the way back home. It was delicious, but super rich. I loved it.

WE are still working with Mildred, the lady in the wheel chair. I just really wish that she could go to church all by herself, but she has desires to go, and that's what makes me happy. She is so great and just keeps up with life no matter what. This week she has gotten a pretty bad sore throat. It has been tough for her because besides her legs, she has got some throat problems.

It has been kinda tough here, but we just need to figure out how to revolutionize the work here. I know that the Lord loves me and I see it every day. Love you all and thanks for your prayers.
Love,
Elder Hilton
